Himalayan crystal salt is a natural table salt about 250 million years old. Without chemical additives and/or fluxes and extracted as it has been done for hundreds of years. It is harvested by hand on the Tibetan plateaus.
Also called "salt of the king", because the very high quality salt was only sold to the local nobility. Contains many minerals such as sodium chloride, magnesium and calcium.
